Stocker Trout and Stocker Baby Bass Lures.
Image:
In 1993 my brother Todd and I went into business together, making the Stocker Trout lures. The lures quickly became one of the best lures on the market. And still is today!!!
The funny thing is the lures were never intended to be sold!!! But friends told friends about us catching fish. And then other fisherman started seeing us catch fish. That is when the stores started calling. The amazing thing is the lure that was never intended to be sold, is now being sold all over the world!!!

New black Stocker Trout lures

As you can see in the photo's above, we make the Stocker Trout lures in a rainbow trout pattern, and a new black color for night fishing. We make them in 10, 9, and 7-inch sizes. We also make a 7-inch Baby Bass lure. These lures are not painted!!! So you don't have to worry about the paint coming off after numbers of fish!!!
Stocker Trout lures were also the first 3 dimensional, anatomically correct soft plastic swimbait on the market. Our lures have an incredible swimming action, that fish can't seem to resist!!!! And the wings that make the bait swim, put off a vibration in the water that helps trigger fish to eat.

Rod and I took Western Outdoor News writer Bradley Schweit out again to Lake Casitas. We had a great time!!! The fishing  conditions were tough!!! We had cold and hot 30 to 40 MPH winds all day from every direction. The fish really didn't like it!!!! Brad did get this one fish on the 10 inch Stocker Trout, G-Loomis swimbait rod and 25 pound Triple Fish line.

Dick Thompsons great day with Stocker Trout lures!!!
Dick Thompson started off the day throwing the 10 inch Stocker Trout lure with his G-Loomis rod and 25 pound Triple Fish line. He got the 12 pound bass slow rolling the bait in 25 feet of water. Then he switched it up a little later in the day and he got a 11 1/2 on a 7 inch Stocker Trout lure, G-Loomis rod and 15 pound Triple Fish line. He hasn't been a big believer in the smaller 7 inch bait. But he is now!!!!

My brother and I have been using G-Loomis rods for years with our baits. G-Loomis Inc. has just come out with some new swimbait rods!!!! The rod builders at G-Loomis used our lures to help design these new rods. These rod's help not tire you out when fishing the big baits. So, casting these big baits all day will be much more enjoyable!!!! These rods are tournament legal, and they have  great backbone strength for getting good hook sets. You'll get great casting distance with these rods also. Over the years we have used our G-Loomis rods for freshwater and saltwater fishing. We believe they are the best rods on the market today!!! They're the only rods we trust to land the big ones for us!!!!! You can check out the new rods, clothing line and travel bags at www.gloomis.com

Years ago, we were told about a new fishing line that had came out onto the market that was camouflaged for fishing live bait. We bought a couple of spools to try with live bait. We really liked the way it didn't let light travel down the line into the water.
Then we started making our Stocker Trout lures and decided to try the Original Camo color 25 pound test with our 9 and 10 inch baits. We used the Original Camo color 15 pound test with our 7 inch bait. Both lines worked great!!!! Both lines are still on our reels today!!! The lines had the strength, stretch, and abrasion resistance that we wanted in a line!!! Over the years we used all types and and sizes of Triple Fish line in freshwater and saltwater. And we have tested a lot of other lines over the years for other company's. We could use any line in the world we want!!! But, we still choose to use Triple Fish line on all of our reels!!! www.triplefishlines.com
