I just got a new 21 foot Champion bass boat and it's in Lake Casitas. So set up a trip, and come test it out with me!!! I will use my other Champion at other lakes.
The bass are chewing at Casitas. The bass and stripers bite is wide open at Castaic.

New 21 foot Champion
First I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised here in California. I have grown up fishing and living between two of the best trophy bass lakes (Casitas, Castaic) in California. I also like fishing lake Pyramid, one of the best small mouth, northern strain largemouth and striper fisheries in Southern California. I have enjoyed fishing since I was a little boy. When I got older I took it to the extreme!!! I started designing my own lures to catch big bass. My brother Todd and I are the makers of the Stocker Trout and Stocker Baby Bass lures. We started the business in the early 90's.
When I was younger I fished all types of crank baits, jigs, and plastic worms. I also used live bait like crawdad's and shad. Then in the 1990's I started targeting big bass with our Stocker Trout lures. Over the years I have put hundreds upon hundreds of trophy bass in my boat using our Stocker Trout lures. I have spent the last 20 years honing my skills on catching fish on these great fisheries.
I do not fish when guiding!!! Unless asked, or for instructional purposes only. Most guides fish in front of their clients. I don't do that!!!!!!! I'm out to catch you fish, not myself!!!!!!!!!
I can show you different technique's that I like to use with our swim baits. I can also show you a technique of fishing with live crawdad's for trophy bass. The technique was made famous in the early 90's. Some of the biggest bass in the world were caught on live crawdad's out of these two lakes with this technique. Lake Casitas and Castaic are no longer allowing Crawdad's to come into the lake, because of the Quagga Mussel issue. The only way I can use crawdads, is if I catch them out of the lake. The marina's are not carrying them at this time also. I'll let you know if anything changes.
I have charters set up for different types of fishing. All charters are designed for a fun day on the water!!! They will also be designed for your experience level. I will mold a charter just for you!!!
All top of the line Bait and Tackle will be provided!!! Water and Soft Drinks will also be included. All you have to do is bring a Camera, Sunscreen and a Lunch. Lake Casitas has a restaurant. So if you want to buy lunch there, that is fine with me!!!! I use G-Loomis rods, Triple-Fish fishing line and Shimano Baitcasting reels.
I practice100% Catch and Release on all Largemouth!!!! So, for the person that wants to take fish home to eat, I would suggest going striper fishing with me.
